ICM is a family-owned business founded on the entrepreneurial expertise of the Ulusoy family, which has been manufacturing paper napkins since 1967.

It was founded in 1995 by the second generation of the family, with a priority on engineering and R&D studies. ICM, a manufacturer of paper collection machines for the production of sanitary paper, also manufactures and markets many special parts and equipment for the sanitary paper industry, such as the production lines for paper napkins that are entirely self-designed, the production lines for toilet roll and paper towels, the production lines for Z-fold dispenser towels, V-fold dispenser towels, and facial tissue, numerous machines for packaging and cardboard, as well as embossing rollers all over the world.

In 2007, with the support of the Tübitak-Teydeb project, ICM reinforced its R&D studies, which it undertook utilizing its own resources. ICM standardized its operations with the more than ten Teydeb Industry R&D projects it accomplished in the subsequent years and advanced these initiatives with the assistance of Kosgeb.

The efforts of ICM to develop sustainable technology have been capped with the establishment of the first and only R&D centre in its industry in 2018, with clearance from the Ministry of Industry. It presently owns over 40 different intellectual property rights and several publications related to the projects it has accomplished.

ICM began with the production of two napkin machines in 1995, the year it was founded, and has expanded to manufacture an average of 60-80 various machines every year during the last 25 years, with around 80% of them sold to many countries worldwide. Today, ICM manufactures over 1,000 machines that are used in 34 different countries.
